Air:bit 2 - Class set with fast charger

Air:bit 2 is a complete class set with quick charger, designed to take micro:bit programming to the next level.

Recommendations for use

For an optimal experience, we recommend using two micro:bits per drone - one in the drone itself and one as a remote control. This provides easier and more flexible control. Alternatively, one micro:bit per drone can be used if you are using an Apple or Android app, but the learning program has been developed based on two micro:bits. We recommend micro:bit V2 in the drone, but the remote control can be either V1 or V2.

Air:bit 2 includes the WonderKit Start Pack, which allows for expansions such as the hover:bit hover car and other exciting add-ons.

Important information

The charger comes with a 220V EU plug, but can be used in all countries with a suitable adapter (110-240V).

Air:bit in schools

Air:bit is a continuation of the national micro:bit initiative, where 100,000 sixth graders are offered micro:bit programming. With Air:bit, pupils can build their own drone and control it with an app or micro:bit, while learning about engines, aerodynamics and battery technology. Suitable for science, arts and crafts, math and technology.

The learning program has been developed in collaboration with seven schools and four science centers in Norway.
